概要

Eye - tracking systems can be used as either a tool for usability testing or as an input device. The first part of my talk will be on the use of eye tracking for usability testing and I will present some studies I have carried out. The second part will be on the use of eye tracking as a tool for gaze interaction where the eye tracker is used as an input device. During the last 3 years my research has been focused on the development of a gaze controlled communication software for severely disabled people. The software GazeTalk is developed as an iterative process in close cooperation with a group of people suffering from ALS/MND. In my talk I will present some of the design considerations behind GazeTalk and introduce the features build into GazeTalk including the resent development of a web ? service access to the collections of the Royal Library in Copenhagen.
