Presentation Information of DLKC '04

The speakers will be able to use followings for their presentation.

- Input Connector: VGA (min-DSUB 15pins)
Notebook PC (connected to the data projector)
- IBM-PC compatible (IBM Thinkpad)
- Softwares and layout of keyboard are Japanese version
- MS-Windows 2000 (SP4 or above)
- MS-Office XP (includes MS-PowerPoint2002)
- MS-Internet Explorer 6 and Netscape 7
- Adobe Acrobat 5
- Connected to Internet via LAN of the Tsukuba University
- Floppy (1.4MB/720KB), DVD/CD-ROM , USB (1.1), PC-Card/CardBus (type I/II/III)
Over Head Projector

Power Source: 100V AC (50Hz), plug type A (flat blade attachment plug)
LAN (Ethernet): 100BASE-TX/10BASE-T, RJ-45, connected to the Internet by a firewall (Web and Email clients can be access to the Internet.)

Please let us know that you want to use which equipments for your presenation by E-mail before the symposium or at the registration desk before your session. We would very much appreciate receiving your requirements by E-mail before the symposium.
If you want to use your own PC with our LCD projector, please check your PC has a VGA-connector (analog-RGB, mini-DSUB 15pins) for external display. If it has a special connector (ex. DVI), please do not forget bring the adapter for connecting VGA cables.
If you want to use the MS-PowerPoint on the above-mentioned notebook PC, please check whether your slides have no problem with the Japanese version or not. (If you made slides with English or other language version of PowerPoint, Some symbols and details of layout of the slides may be changed with the Japanese version.)
If you have requirements of any other equipments or softwares, please contact us at least a few days before the symposium.
