| 概要 Abstract |
Semantic Web provides common frameworks that allow data to be linked, shared and reused across applications by means of ontology. Ontology has two parts: ontology-schema and knowledge-base. While ontology-schema contains concepts, properties and their relationships, knowledge-base contains instances of people, places or things. Distributed sources of knowledge-base containing domain ontologies need reconciliation at schema level, called ontology alignment and that at knowledge-base level, called instance matching. Scalability becomes formidable in aligning large ontologies or matching big instance repositories. We have developed algorithms to divide large data into smaller parts to meet scalability issue successfully in ontology alignment and instance matching. |
