| 概要 Abstract |
In previous work I have proposed a model-oriented approach to information organization. Specifically, I have emphasized models that incorporate behavior and process descriptions and have suggested that they could be applied for descriptions of both scientific research reports and historical community models. In this talk I will consider three types of technical issues for possible implementations. First, I will examine object-oriented programming as an approach for information organization and description. In particular, I will examine the potential of using object-oriented languages such as Self and Slate. Second, I will discuss the possibility of using standardized frames for representation. Specifically, for historical community models I will discuss applying linguistic frames. Third, I consider the integration of higher-level knowledge and conceptual frameworks into the entity-event fabric. |
